Pricing Analyst


About the role

  1. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Operations Research or other quantitative fields is required
  2. 2+  years of job-related experience
  3. Strong ability to lead analysis based on data
  4. Proficiency in Excel is a must
  5. Solid Mathematics/Economics background - must be able to accurately analyze reports and evaluate areas of concern or opportunities to help make quick decisions to improve revenue performance
  6. Written & verbal communication skills - must be able to effectively convey market level strategy decisions and results to the team, senior management and all other stakeholders
  7. Knowledge of fundamental foundations of statistics, optimization & economics is preferable

What you will do

  1. Compile & analyze pricing data for Jeeny and competitors on daily basis
  2. Study market & competitors activity as a basis of future pricing strategies
  3. Perform frequent analysis on market level issues and present findings/recommendations to senior management
  4. Optimize parameters of dynamic pricing to make upfront price experience better
  5. Use data analysis to improve & automate all aspects of Jeeny's ridesharing products
  6. Asses rider & driver behavior and adjust prices accordingly to ensure balance & reliability
  7. Propose tool enhancement & evolution
  8. Solve challenging business problems & issues using data driven approaches
  9. Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Customer Experience and all stakeholders to ensure optimal pricing
  10. Work closely with team leads and communicate with senior management on progress and issues
  11. Participate in local and regional projects (methodology, processes, tools, services, etc.)
