Jeeny Fraud Policy


Introduction

Our platform relies on the trust of both the riders and drivers who use it. That's why we are vigilant about detecting and preventing fraud to protect our community.

Fraudulent Acts

Activity may include, but is not limited to:

  • Deliberately increasing the time or distance of a trip in a dishonest manner (e.g., taking a much longer route than necessary to the passenger’s destination).
  • Accepting trip or delivery requests without completing them properly, including causing users to cancel.
  • Creating fake, duplicate, or otherwise improper accounts on the Jeeny app.
  • Requesting, accepting, or completing fraudulent or falsified trips or deliveries.
  • Claiming to complete a delivery without ever picking up the delivery item.
  • Picking up a delivery item and retaining all or a portion of the item, and not delivering the entire order.
  • Theft of, or wrongfully obtaining property belonging to another person.
  • Disrupting or manipulating the normal functioning of the Jeeny platform, including by using unauthorized or manipulated devices, apps, or programs to prevent or circumvent the proper functioning of the platform and the GPS system.
  • Abusing any program, such as promotions, incentives, or referrals, or not using them for their intended purpose.
  • Disputing legitimate charges.
  • Falsifying documents, records, or other data.
  • Abuse of cancellation policy
  • Manipulating the GPS data or using fake location GPS apps.
  • Confirming trips with no intention of completing them, forcing passengers to cancel.
  • Providing incorrect or inaccurate information about themselves when opening their account.
  • Driving a vehicle that has not been approved by Jeeny.
  • Willfully confirming or completing fraudulent trips.
  • Using another person’s ID or account information

Results of Breaching Jeeny’s Fraud Policy

Violations of Jeeny’s Fraud Policy may result in immediate loss of access to all or part of the Jeeny Driver/Passenger App.

If you have more than one Jeeny account, such as a rider account and a driver account, a violation of the Fraud Policy could result in losing access to all Jeeny accounts.

Jeeny may also, at its sole discretion:

  • Place a hold on potential earnings associated with suspected fraud.
  • Adjust any earnings you are scheduled to receive associated with suspected fraud.
  • Remove or restrict your access to certain offers.
  • Otherwise restrict your account until our review is complete.

Additionally, Jeeny has the right to hold all payments in your wallet if they have grounds to suspect fraudulent activity. This means they can freeze any funds in your account as part of their investigation into the suspected fraud

Jeeny reserves the right to take any appropriate measures, including but not limited to:

  • Terminating this Agreement with the driver.
  • Notifying the relevant authorities.
  • Filing criminal charges against you.

Under the terms of this Fraud Policy, you agree that Jeeny may temporarily deactivate your account to investigate whether you have engaged in, or your account has been used in, activity that is deceptive, fraudulent, unsafe, illegal, or harmful to the Jeeny brand, business, or reputation.

Based on the severity of the findings from their investigation, Jeeny has the authority to permanently block your account. This decision is made at Jeeny's discretion and is dependent on the nature and extent of the suspected fraudulent or harmful activity.

Alerting About Fraud

If we detect fraudulent behavior on your account and have adjusted your earnings, restricted your access to features or specific offer types, or revoked your access to the app, we will notify you via in-app communication, phone call, email, or any other means, explaining the detected activity. Engaging in fraudulent activities, even once, can lead to permanent deactivation from the platform. Typically, you will receive up to 2 warnings before this happens, but this depends on the severity of the situation. The reason for your deactivation will always be detailed in the notice.

Appeal Procedure

You have the right to appeal Jeeny’s determination that you have violated this Fraud Policy. If you believe an error caused you to lose access to your account, resulted in a downward adjustment of your earnings, or loss of access to features or specific types of offers, you may contact the Jeeny Support team (Saudi Arabia & Jordan) to appeal the decision.

Note: Passengers & Drivers with their registered mobile number can call our customer care support for any assistance during and after 10 minutes of completed ride only.

Our team will carefully review the information you submitted.The review process typically takes up to five business days; sometimes additional time is needed. We will contact you as soon as the review is complete. Jeeny’s final decision is not subject to further review.
